A quite superb large silver dressing table mirror hallmarked in London 1900 with the makers mark being that of William Comyns.
The overall condition of the silver is excellent, there is a small knock at bottom right hand side , the silver is missing maybe 2 or 3 small retaining pins which hold the silver onto the backing....This results in the silver slightly sitting out from backing at top but only a couple of small pins required to have this flush again, (we never alter or sort any items but offer them for sale exactly as we find them).Glass is perfect and the wood you see is only a refection of a new wall being built , glass has no imperfections.
The backing has a small split at bottom right and in general the back easel area is a grubby in appearance and would benefit from recovering.....all minor and affordable issues and the mirror is offered at a price taking all this into consideration.
It measures 13x10 inches.
There is only so many images we can show on this page for speed of loading etc, we have more images of the mirror showing the back etc, please email us at enquiries@dartsilverltd.co.uk for additional images.
